I received a subscription to Tinned Fish as a holiday gift. That gift giver definitely knows me well--I loved it right from the welcome e-mail! It was clear personable and quirky and set the tone for the rest of my experience. After a few notifications of shipping/transit the first box arrived last week. The three tins of fish were as aesthetically pleasing as their sustainability origin stories were great and even better to eat. I appreciated the extra touch of recipe ideas although I ended up going the purist route and enjoying my goodies on crackers with accompaniments of sliced veg and pickles. Three tins of serious yum. One small note: the explanation of when youll receive your boxes each month is a little confusing but I'm not hung up on exact to-the-day timing. I'm just excited for the next box. A definite thumbs up/highly recommend to any fish lover out there!'
