No. Never. Gift plans are paid once, in full, at purchase and they end when the last box ships. There is no card on file to charge, nothing for them to cancel, and no renewal notice coming.
When a box ships, we email a tracking link to the address on the order. If that email has not arrived, the box has not shipped yet, so there is nothing to track. You can also check the status of any order by signing in at login.tinnedfishclub.com. We use a range of carriers and some are slow to post a first scan, so a tracking number that shows nothing for a day or two is normal.
Yes. You choose the start date at checkout and write a personal message. The message is emailed to them on the morning of that date, and the first box ships shortly after, typically within 3 to 5 business days. Need to shift the timing after ordering? Write to us and we will sort it out.
The first box ships on its own, typically within 3 to 5 business days of the start date you chose. After that, club boxes all go out together at the end of each month, so if the gift starts early in a month there is a longer gap before the second box arrives. Each month's selection is curated fresh.
The gift simply finishes. If they loved it, they can start their own membership, but nothing happens automatically.

Then this probably is not their gift, and that is worth knowing before you buy. Boxes contain fish and shellfish and may include items processed alongside other allergens, so if they have a serious allergy we would rather say so now. Boxes are also packed identically for everyone, so tins cannot be swapped.
